The Luckiest

I still remember the night that I met Andris. I was 24 years old. It was the middle of February in Chicago and I fell hard for this boy that lived two states away over tacos at Mi Tierra on Belmont . Six months later I had moved back to Chicago and three years after that we were married. I adore being Andris’ wife and this life we are building for our family. Together, I feel like anything and everything is possible. We share wonderful memories, big dreams and the joy that comes with everyday life on Hillside Lane. Every day I know how lucky I am to have Andris as my husband and I know that he will fill all my days with laughter, love and a healthy dose of the Golf Channel 🙂

Andris’ talented cousin put together this print for us from one of our favorite songs by the Avett Brothers. I literally smile every time I look at it. What an incredible sentiment. What a simple reminder. And a fitting toast to six years of marriage.

Es tevi milu, Andris. You make me the luckiest girl. Here’s to a lifetime more!
